Yeah still tough to comprehend a 25% difference in margin on the same item. It is what it is I guess... My local dealer is pretty big and does significant volume too, not like its mom and pop and they sell 5 implements a month. I guess they figure theres a sucker born every day.

Don't call it margin, because you probably don't have a clue as to what any dealer's real cost is. And you need that info to figure margin.

And the pa dealer is ordering a new unit, so stock isnt the case. :

If his preseason order was $50,000 more than the guy down the road, you can bet the single unit he puts on special order mid-season will cost him a bunch less than one the guy down the road orders after a small pre-season order.
And yes, some dealers are just naturally more high priced than others. I mentioned that in my first post as well.

3500 is about right. I paid 33xx for mine pre-ordering in may for the next winter. It was delivered in October, serial number of 3 for that years run.
