Decided to buy a Frontier 8ft Land Plane (Leveler). Looks well built. I made it home with it on my work van instead of going and getting the truck. Got to save that $4 gas you know...

John
Awesome piece of equipment !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question:Have you looked in tube at the manual to see if they say who makes that ?
Reason I ask is I once bought a heavy duty Frontier boxblade w/hinged rear and it was made by Woods.
Once again real nice piece !

Soon. I am going to be working on some driveways and new lawns soon if we ever get some rain in the forecast...

Nice acquisition there, but I gotta ask.... how did you get it up on top of the van in one place, and then get it back off in another place?? I doubt your FEL will lift that high? I'm betting you loosened up the straps, backed up the van real fast, and then slammed on the brakes!!!

Also, the roofs on those vans are a lot sturdier than you would think!!! Good luck with the new attachment.

We used a forklift at the dealer to load and then my 4720 lifted it and my helper off the top of the van... No problems at all loading or unloading.

Wow that thing is huge-mongously wide! How much does it weigh? I have a 6' wide Land Pride GS1572 that weighs around 600 lbs ... Can't imagine even mine riding on top like that. Kinda scary!

Edit: I looked up your LP1196: 652 lbs.

What did yours cost you? Mine was $1,800
