Mini log skidding BX style

I built a small attachment that was added to the three point hitch, to lift and pull small logs. It worked good but you had to back up over the end of the log. With the low ground clearance of the BX I thought it would be better to add the winch I made for the three point hitch so I could pull the logs to a open spot where the tractor was safe. Here is some pictures before the winch.

I like your thought process of improvement after initial build. Very innovative design. :thumbsup: Seems you could use the back plate as a dozer blade as well? Are you able to skid more than one log at a time?

magicheater, I have not skidded more than one log at a time, I did make slots in the top of the plate to hold chains, so I could chain more than one log at a time. I guess it would depend on what size logs the BX would pull.

The winch is a Warn 2500 lb, I had it on the ATV and never used it. I thought I would use it more on the tractor?
