Well i finally decided to pick a flail mower for my moweing bussiness, I have read most of the info provided by people on this site and am aware of the good and bad of these mowers, i dont do HWY row moweing where the grass gets cut only 2 or 3 times a year i mow every month or 30 days in feilds that ive been mowing for years, Now i use two tractors so i still have a rotory cutter if the grass or conditions are to bad for the flail mower. Ive been cutting with the rotory cuttler 8 years and have had no issues that is untill i decided to buy a cab tractor in which i broke out my own window on the first job i went to with the new tractor. so im going to use the flail mower on the cab tractor and leave the rotory cutter on the open station tractor. Anyway here is some picturs if you care to see them, i think all post should have pictures

I cant sell the Cub, Its the tractor that i use in the most abusive condisions like ditches with tree limbs scratching doun the sides of it, Its also been widend so i can hang some steep hills on some properties;. I guess the Cub is the beater machine that i use when i think i might damage the Kioti.

That is a good looking mower. Is that the model that everythingattachments sells? Does it have the ruff-cut or finish-cut rotor on it? I went with the Caroni and it has the rough-cut rotor on it. It does an ok job, but I wish I had gotten the fine-cut rotor on it. I may look into retro fitting one on it. Good looking tractor and mower. Keep us posted on how well it performs. There has been quite the controversy on here about the pros n cons of flails vs rotories. Keep your head down:D.

Congratulations on your purchase 8404,

I am certainly glad you were not hit by the object that was thrown through the rear window of the Kioti Cabin equipped tractor.

I want to welcome you as new lifetime member to the Flail Mower Nation.

I would definetly get some hurricane fence scrap and
tie wrap it with the heavy black weather resistant
tie wraps to the roll bar of the Cub Cadet for your
piece of mind as it will be strongest protection for you.

100_2274.jpgYes its the one everything attatchment sells, and it has the side cutter blades, and its very heavy duty as far as the thickness of the steel on it. i havent cut with it yet im taking it out tomarrow night for about 5 hours so ill know how well it cuts on a feild thats got a good month of growing on it, I shure hope its all im expecting of it.
you just cant beat the service of the "Everything attachment company" I ordered it online on monday at noon and the mower was on my trailer comming home buy friday at noon. with oh ya FREE SHIPPING:D and NO SALES TAX . so buy buying from E.A. i saved 1000.00 worth of shipping and sales tax and of course the naturaly overpriced green paint from the John deere dealer when i was considering buying their 390 offset flail mower from them.
my faverate selling point of this mower is the floating hitches to relieve the stress on the mower when mowing uneaven ground.

Im not for shure but Caroni and Sicma seem to have some kind of parnership going on because in austraila Caroni sell sicma brands as their own mowers. so i think both are Italian made mowers.

Wow, that thing is a beast! Looks like it will do a fine job for you. I bought my box blade from EA and they were great to deal with.

The Sicma and Caroni implements are made in Italy and these firms have been making farm implements for many years and export them throughout Europe and Great Britain.
