    Default ATIs JD TACH-ALL

Has anyone else used ATIs Tach-ALL, for JD, kubota, other?

Boy, it seems like a slick unit. My dealer replaced the standard JD SSQA they sold me with this one. Their SS carrier was nothing but trouble. I tried back dragging with that and the Workpro bucket and I kept hearing this "POP" sound. Sure enough it was sliding around (bucket) on the POS carrier

To make a long story short, they took back the carrier and the Workpro bucket. They then exchanged those for a heavy duty JD bucket with the JD pin on style.

Now all I have to do is use this ATI adaptor with the JD setup. Looks pretty well built and the fitment is excellent! Much better than their SS carrier..

    Photos to compare

1st photo is the big gap on the JD SS carrier.
2nd photo is the ATI conversion to SS carrier

This is very interesting indeed. There aren't a ton of guys (with Deere) using the SS carrier. I know a few are and seem very happy with them. That said the SS carrier has been around along time and is very popular on the 110's and small wheel loader and skids. Is it possible you just got a defective one? As for the ATI's I looked at them a few years back and if it didn't all weight I would have bought one. It's alot easier finding used ss carrier stuff than the JD QA setup. Be sure to give us a good review after you get a bunch of hrs on it.

Very neat. Good to know if I go with JD in the future as I have started collecting SSQA attachments like forks and hay spears.

Ideally if one were buying new attachments you would buy JD QA compatible so as to keep the weight down. This gives you the best of both worlds albeit with some more weight.
Current: Kubota M7040 cab, hydraulic shuttle, Kubota M20 loader (made by ALO), LandPride RCR1872 rotary cutter, Horst bale spears & forks, Woods HB72 box blade, Kodiak 7' rake, Walco cultivator, chain harrow, Meteor 74" pull style blower

Traded: Kubota L3400, LA473 HST (300 hrs), and various attachments

Matt, that's kinda why I posted this. I could find very little info anywhere. Maybe it could help someone..

As far a getting a defective one, if thats the case it would have to be 4 defective ones. The dealer replaced 2 on each side! The fit was the same on each one, bad.

It is kinda neat, and to tell you the truth it weighs about the same as the JDSS carrier. If you look close the Tach-All doesn't really extend everything out that far. pluse like you mentioned it's the "best of both worlds"

Something else I forgot to mention. The boxed brace that holds the sides together is nice when you're hooking up to an implement. In other words the sides don't flop around and move independently like the other carrier.

Rock, there's another member ramairfreak with a 4720 with the deere skid steer mount. Try sending him a PM to see if he had any issues. I believe he uses his commercially.

How is this holding up for you?

Im thinking of going with the skid steer adapter to go with the wildkat rock grapple.

Is it as simple as just taking the thing off to get back to the john deere quick attach? I dont want to convert my bucket to skid steer just yet.

The adapter is holding up great the thing is built like a tank. Put about 30 hrs on it this year already with the grapple, it's rock solid. I'm not really sure why anyone would go through the trouble with welding this or that when something like this is around.

As far as switching it around goes, it couldn't be more simple. Right now I'm switching back between the grapple and the JD bucket. When the bucket gets put back on (not often) the adapter stays right on the grapple. Pull two pins pop the bucket back on. Very, very easy.
