880 Massey Ferguson Plow

Can anybody tell me anything good or bad about 880 Massey Ferguson Moldboard plow. How does it compare with an IH plow? Does it have good trash clearence? Does it work good for plowing corn stalks?

I have an 880 but have never used an International. The 880 did great for me in corn and sod. I don't recall ever having the stalks plug up in it. Mine is a 4 bottom 16" semi mount.

We had an 1130 massey and a 880 5/18 behind it ,pulled easy enough. I can't say it had a trash problem and it did have hydraulic resets, brother kept burying the rig in our slough's' so by the time it was my turn "I am 4 years younger" We used an uncle's IH 720 4/18. Same tractor and it pulled very easy' don't remember chopping stalks and also don't remember plugging up and I surely would remember that. That 1130 pulled that 880 5/18 up some very steep clay hills, I hope this helps.

That 1130 was pushing about 128 HP and it was pretty, I wish I owned it today, brother had green underware and so it went.
