J Bar attachments

I have a jBar rotary cutter. Its light duty but cuts well and for the price i paid it owes me nothing. I just keep welding it back up! But is not even as heavy as a King kutter. There customer service is a little lacking and slow. There always nice but takes forever to get what you want and sometimes have to talk to several people to find one who can "really" help you. I needed a diagram for my gearbox. After a never received call from the plant manger who supposedly had them and a office lady looking in the "books" for one i called again weeks later and the guy i talked to had me a PDF in the email 10 minutes later? So it did exist? I wanted to know how to get the seal out, well i figured it out on my own!

Like i said you get what you pay for. I think i paid like $300 for my bushhog in a package deal when i bought my tractor. It was a new 4 ft model. It has well been worth the money. But i have had to weld some tears back up and reinforce things, but i had planned on this and have a small welder. If i did not have a welder and did not want to weld on it once a year then this is not the cutter for you.

To give you a comparison i think a king kutter in that size is like $700-800?

My plan was to buy this one run it untill it would not go anymore, then search CL for a decent used one for like $300-400. Then either try and get $100 for this one or at that point it would be trashed. At the time i needed something to cut and did not have the weeks that it takes for a good search for a used one.

I have got my money out of it im sure, i have cut acres adn acres of trees with it!
