Please check out this web site and offer opinions on this DeltaHook quick hitch. I called about a price quote and it would cost about $950.00 for the tractor connection and 3 implement connections. I checked out several other web sites for quick hitches but this one look more fool proof and easy to connect to. What do you think?

I think my I-match accomplishes the same thing with less investment and just as easy to hook up and un-hook attachments.

Hard to tell much from the small pictures, but if you're willing to spend that much money you might also want to look at http://www.freedomhitch.com. I got their free video quite some time ago and it looked great to me; just expensive.

Keep in mind that I've not used either one myself, so I certainly cannot say whether one is better than the other.

That, and the freedom hitch that Bird mentioned, are very similar to how my Power Trac works. Every implement has a female reciever and a male hitch is pemanently mounted to the FEL arms. It is SOOOOOooooo easy to switch implements this way that you'll wonder why it isn't standard equipment on all tractors. It really should be. The added cost of having to buy a female reciever for each implement is well worth it in the time and back savings. No more lugging around implements, pulling pins, pinching fingers, pry bars. And they even work on uneven ground, so if you accidentally set down an implement on a slope, you can attach it with no problems. My guess is you'll love it.

I think the key is that triangular shape just lines everything up perfectly. I really wish they would come up with an industry standard and do away with the pin system altogether.

Well just replied to your earlier post before I found this one. They both looked good. I would get quotes from both companies including shipping and then get whichever is cheaper as they are both based on the same triangle idea and will probably work and perform the same.

I haven't any experience with DeltaHook but have been using the equivalent system from Freedom Hitch for a couple of years. Dealt with Bob Jochims at Midwest Industries. Great service and prompt delivery even up here in the great white north (Canada) /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have been very happy with Freedom Hitch purchases, primarily because of ease of switching implements. No pulling or prying, just simple one person task. They are a bit pricey but worth the money if you will be switching implements frequently or you will be working alone most of the time.

Does the freedomHitch require that the part that goes on each implement be welded on? I have been looking at the Freedom Hitch again and if the prices quoted by others on this forum are still current it would be about 300 dollars cheaper than the deltaHook. I would love to go with a Quick Hitch to save money but each time I reinjure my back nudging implements into place I lose much more time from work than the freedom hitch or deltahook would cost me.

No.

I understand it mounts on the pins just like 3pt links would. I requested a video one month ago and have not received it. I doubt I do as I listed my P.O. box instead of my street address. As I don't have a street mail box, I guess I'll buy somthing else.

This was posted in "Quick Hitch Attachment" since that same post carried over to this one and I received alot of good advise here also, please forgive me for posting it here too.

Thanks to all who replyed to this post. I just got off the phone with Bob from Freedom Hitch. I ordered the Freedom Hitch and three attachment pieces, hopefully it will all arrive in the next 7 days. For those who may be interested the total cost including shipping was $900. Thanks again for all the great advise. I will post some pictures arfer I receive everything and con one of the neighbors into helping me set it all up :)
