King Kutter on sale @TSC in Texas
I just got a flyer that has about a dozen King Kutter implements on sale at Tractor Supply. For example, the 5' rotary cutter is $508.50. This may be a regional sale, but I checked 3 Texas locations, and the same sale is going on at all three.
It may be time to get Larry a helper.

Yep, it's a regional sale. I just got our flyer for here in upstate New York, and none of that stuff is on sale.
That's an especially good price on the bucket hay spear. TSC's regular price is even good on that, but they were out of them when I needed it last summer!!!

Maybe they select the sale dates based on the climate. The TSC stores in the northern states may be having the same type of sale in a few weeks.

Well, I pulled the trigger and bought a 5' rotary cutter. I told my better half after the fact, and her response was "You'd better not be mowing any wildflowers!" And believe me - any weed with a bloom on it qualifies in her book.

Good luck with it. I've been happy with mine. It's built sturdy and does a good job. KingKutter doesn't pay a lot of attention to detail though, so you might want to read these threads:
King Kutter bush hog lower hitch pins
King Kutter bush hog top link bracket
King Kutter bush hog shear bolt

Danny,
Thanks for the links! I had read all of these before, but I had it on my to-do list to go back and add them to my "favorites". Now I just have to add this thread.
I haven't seen the cutter yet. My tractor lives about 200 miles from where I do, and my f-i-l was kind enough to pick it up for me and take it back to his place. I'll be down there in a couple of weeks to assemble it and see what kind of adjustments are called for. Maybe it will work just fine on my old L345 without any mods?!? The trick is to whack 'em off before they can bloom - then they're weeds.
