Finally broke down and picked up a Speedco QH. I should have done it when I bought the tractor. Picked up one set of bushings from TSC and had a friend turn three more out of stainless steel shaft that had been scrapped. The QH center hook is adjustable so I used pins to fasten it instead of the supplied bolts. Now I need to find a local source for the 7/16" x 1 1/2" rolled pins for the shop made bushings.

Me gaining a few pound? Not a chance, a few is most assuredly an understatement!

I have a Speeco QH and would not be with out it. I bought the red one (they call it the economy model). The nice part about it is the lower hooks are 7/8" and do not require the bushings. :confused2: Soooo, you buy the encono one and save buying the bushings. The only dowside is you do not get the top link adapter either. No big deal for me. Mine fits all my stuff with out it. :)
