My rule is, Whenever possible, do the thing you have to remember to do while you are in the act of remembering it.

Funny, I was looking at Kioti's this weekend and they all had built-in cup/beer bottle holders already.

My DK45 has 3 hehe. Guess they think were all redneck beer guzzlers in the USA LOL

Wish it had an onboard refrigerator . A sat tv would be nice also

When you add the patio on the 3pt and stop using it for silly things like mowing and grading, you can install the sat tv and fridge under the awning next to the recliner.

I saw a powertrac with a shed, so a patio oughta be easy!

"Unless you want to bend or break bucket cylinders, do not back drag with the bucket tilted forward beyond 15 degrees. Do not back drag with front wheels off the ground."

Thanks this is good to know- I do this all the time.

The worst thing to do with a FEL is not use it. :tractor:

I've moved tons of gravel, dirt and rock, dug ditches, built a driveway and spread gravel. I've back-bladed dirt and gravel with great success. I've removed stumps and back-filled the holes they left behind.

You generally know when you're being abusive. It should become apparent when to take it down a notch.

Amen. If I had a nickle for all the things "not to do" I have done with my FEL, I would have a LOT of nickles. Just use common sense and don't tear it up, but you can do one heck of a lot with a FEL.

When using your bucket as a bath tub make sure you-
1. Dump the dirt out
2. Park with the bucket facing away from the road.
I won't say how I learned these tips. :)

And if you give the baby a bath in it make sure you do not dump the baby with the bath water.

I agree. That's a judgement call that you have to make based on your particular soil conditions and hardware.

Hey! They covered most of the don't do's however don't load bucket and back up very fast while turning ,it will bring the back wheel off the ground and can overturn, the bigger the tractor the safer you are, as to not digging with front end loader I do it all the time ,thing is I use a subsoil first, works fairly good,Ialso push out stumps but I plan for this ahead of time I saw them off high 4 feet or so then catch the groung soft in winter , if after subsoiling the four sides they don't push out fairly easy I let them go a while longer. You can back blade safely though with the lift arms in float right? Say up to 60-70 degrees so the the bucket will hop over the dreaded immovable object. Not in float I can see bad things happening back blading with steep angles...:( Probably if you are going slow enough you can get away with it but not with lots of speed.
