Gerard, the weight number for my bucket came from longs. Your numbers look more correct to me. My concern right now is with tying in the 4 in one hydraulics. It seems that the 440 JD loader uses a 'regenerative' system. Simply put they pressurize both sides of the bucket rams when dumping the bucket. This business of putting equal pressure on both sides of the piston will not work well with the clam-shell rams. So the piping up of a 4-way bucket is a complex event. Mark has written an excellent post on this task and how he solved his hookup. Long tells me that their 5 foot bucket weighs about 350#s and the 6 foot about 400#s.
