Leaf blowers..??

Fall is here, what kind of leaf blower do you have, on what tractor, and how do you like it??......Any homemade's??

My leaf blower is a Steiner, and attaches to my Steiner 525. It does a great job of blowing leaves when I decide to do them, and keeps the street blown off also, as there is a dirt road intersecting my paved road right in front of my property.

I find the backpack approach works very well. I have at least 1/2 acre that I blow leaves from.

I am like "scottrh" I use a backpack blower. I looked at 3pt leaf blowers one time and came away with the thought, "Leaf blowers are expensive". Tractor 3 Point Hitch & Pull Type AgriMetal Blowers, PTO Driven and Gasoline Engine Powered

I have an echo backpack,bought the biggest they made about 8 yrs ago. I take care of an acre with it at my rental house, but my residence is larger and growing, so I'm hoping to get a 3 pt hitch blower. The steiner looks great but its specific to steiner tractors....

Agrimetal seems to be one of the better blowers. I have been searching for 2yrs trying to find a deal on one. Most of the ones I find are to far away and shipping makes them to expensive. I have a hard time justifing spending $2000 on somthing I am only going to use for about 2 weeks a year. For now I am using a back pack blower and as long as the leaves are dry it works great.

I have an Echo backpack blower, It does work great. Have a few sugar Maples along with Red Oaks in front yard. One Sugar Maple sits just off driveway, and when it's leafs fall the driveway is the target. The Echo backpack makes short work of leafs, I do have to add that I live in a rural setting so I never pick up leafs, just blow them away.

I have an agrimetal 3ph blower. With 4 acres of yard to blow it makes short work of it and its even better to have a place to blow to rather than blowing to a pile and then dealing with them. I got mine on CL for $200 in pretty good condition.

We bought an Agrimetal blower, the 2500, and are pleased with it to date. We tried a tow-behind Agrimetal unit with a 14 hp gas engine but wasn't powerful enough for use on private gravel roads clearing leaves. The blower is well made, not too loud and powerful. didn't get the hydraulic deflector but may get and add it to allow better control when trying to clear ditches etc. EGo_SmAsH $200 for an Agrimetal 3 pth blower is a fantastic deal!

It was a bargain considering the work/time it saves me. Its similar to yours (older model) with a single wheel on the back, roller on the front.
