Frontier (woods) 1060R Finish Mower

I just picked this up used tonight. Plan on going over it this weekend. But I do want order new blades. Is there a good place to order these? Do I have to go to a John deere dealer or can I go to a Woods dealer? The dealer I bought my JD from is not a dealer anymore.

If you're sure it's a Woods (easy to tell....the Gearbox will have "Woods" cast into it), any deere or Woods dealer can help you. I don't think Woods sells directly to the public, but it can't hurt to check out the Woods Equipment Company website.
BTW, if you didn't get a manual, you can download one from the Woods website.

My first sentence "If you're sure it's a Woods ..." was because Frontier mowers were built by both Woods and Befco. I have a Woods built Frontier. Great mower!!!

Thanks Roy. I read a post earlier, I think it was from you that told who made them. Mine is a Woods as it's stamped on the gearbox. I checked their site and has to be a dealer. But you answered my question. I know a dealer close by that handles Woods so I am going to go see them.

Now I just hope I can get some rain by next year so I can use it.
