    Alaskan Kubota,

The ripper has come in handy for loosening up stumps by ripping the roots.

I've also used it to help dig up rocks. Sometimes the ripper leaves a smaller hole than using the bucket on the backhoe to pry out rocks.-009-jpg-010-jpg-018-jpg

I recently also used it to dig a narrow trench when I added a zone to my lawn sprinkler system.

I definitely like it, and recommend it to anyone who asks.

    BX25 DUAL WHEEL ADAPTORS

I did some research and I have found a guy that is making these beasts.
After a couple of detailed replys from Christian+ I am convienced that this
mod if used within reason, whereas it would be RARE if you were to hit
an outer wheel ALONE, hard, or with a great amount of weight,
(meaning your running w/ all 4 rear wheels on flat ground usually)
then I am conveinced it is A-OK to do.

Keeping the inner dual at peak pressure and the outer at a lower pressure
will work to lessen the "lever" effect as well, IMO.

There is another way to do this, other than what I have pictured w/ a ring and all thread rod.
CLICK HERE to see the other way designed by member "milkman" to do this.
I am actually wondering if the adaptor pictured were used WITH milkman's plastic
ring between the two rims as well, would this not be the ultimate!

The ring would keep rocks out and if cut w/ some precision would also
distribute some load, "possibly" absorbing some of that energy! Hmmmm?
    Maybe a 12-3/4" OD x .375" wall tube x " X" " long.

+...as well as what I have read in milkmans thread...

A guy might be able to add air chuck nipples on the INSIDE of the inner dual's
rim so you can get at it easier OR maybe an RV hose extension...

I might have pictures of the method my tractor uses for dualies, but it is very similar to Milkmans... It hinges on a spacer at the outer edges of the rim, bolts holding it all together. The difference is that the inner tire is pointed in, (for you consider being mounted inside out with the flange of the wheel being all the way intoward the body) this keeps the rims VERY close, and reduces what I think is a potential issue with Milkmans and your find which is flex.... Not sure how you would accomplish this on a BX but it might be something to look at...

If you want pix I can dig.... I am in LA at the moment...

I made some dual wheel adapters for my buddys four wheeler with a similar laser cut set of bolt patterned circular cutouts welded to a pipe. They are 5 years old and still going strong.
