BX25 Goodies

I have started a "Favorites" on my box for Implements / Attachemnts that are relative to my BX25 / Sub Compact tractors. After it grows maybe I can post it up. Don't hold yer breath! Seems to me the list owner, Muhammad? might consider such an area, be wise to make an area for vendors to display there wares, make it free for vendors till it grows...

I am a newb, I am searching and searching and searching for what is available, heck, I didn't know about JAKE RAKE till the man jumped in waving a flag, HERE I AM, and I am GLAD he did! I want to see EVERYTHING and it is NOT in one place to feed upon!

Are there other vendors on this list that sell attachments / implements for my BX25? Is there a place I have not found yet to view said?

My signature line has links to my attachments. I'm still learning the capabilities of the BX25.

The Bro-tek ripper tooth has come in very handy. I also have the thumb, which works well, though I've only used it a couple times.

BXpanded is great. I suspect I will eventually own one of almost everything they have!

The Ratchet Rake also works well, I plan on working it hard next spring.

Yesterday, I was trying out a post hole digger I just got from Everything Attachments... I wish I got it sooner! This thing should get lots of use. I just wish there was some sort of stand available for it. (Maybe I should just learn how to weld and make my own....more toys )

Depending on your situation, you may want to look into various dollies that come in handy to move some of the heavier implements around the garage. I've got my backhoe, FEL, grass catcher, and snow plow on dollies.

Maybe I should just learn how to weld and make my own

I would highly encourage that. I bought a stick welder earlier this year from Everlast and it has been downright handy. I don't get into complicated projects, and my welds would make a welding teacher cringe but when I need X stuck to Y, it works. Haven't had any of my welds fail yet.

Yep and before you said "Everything Attachments" I found it.

"Everything Attachments" is a GREAT place to look at and learn whats available, they have lots of videos too! Drill down the hierachy of web pages
and you run into great videos showing many implements working. Of corse I wish they were all connected to a BX25 but hey!

Speaking of Auger, can anyone ID this auger and or tell me anything about this flavor? Is that handle a DIYer device?

I am starting to think about adding a grapple to the FEL. Looks like I will aquire a 3.5" x 3.5" x .25" Piece of angle, cut off the "Level" indicator on the FEL's bucket and weld in said in place.

I am considering buying The Thumb of 20" size for my BX25 and I am trying to figure out the best way to power it. I think I am leaning towards an electronic valve, perhaps a 12 VDC Hyd. Double Selector Valve ITEM 9-7852 as seen HERE on the right side. It is 13.2GPM so over sized, I do not assume that to be an issue. Anyone have an opinion or suggestion?

Fasse basically sells the same thing I think. I think I can buy this valve then get just fasse's ergonomic FEL lever switch and get the same fasse set up for a couple of hundred less. Yes, no maybe?

--Here I am first dump ever dropping 5.2 ton. Yes, overloaded but it did it. Second load was spot on, 300lbs under #7000, 5000lbs tare, 12K GVW :) If you have a very fast connection or want to see the movie it is like 95Megs, CLICK HERE in maybe a 1/2 hour from now. This is my local dump, it is DEEP, deeper in other areas moreso then what you see!

I have spoken with Jery about his products and he is very paticular about the quality of his products and always looking for ways improve. From what he has told me about whats up and coming. Im putting away cash right now for the grapple. That would work for me in so many ways.

Artisan,

On adding a remote for your potential grapple, I bookmarked this setup some time ago when I was contemplating doing the same but never did. It's a package setup with the solenoid, block, switch and wiring. It would turn one of your FEL circuits into two circuits with a selectable control switch. Just something else to consider. If you do the grapple project, be sure to post pic's.

And Thank You Chris...I will be doing a grapple as soon as I nail down how I am to circuit the hydraulics.
