Thanks for posting all the goodies. Could I ask a small favor to post or email some pics of the hydro lines and quick connects for the Back Hoe. Im looking into extra hydro lines for my 2660. Wondering if the BH connection or the Aux. kit would work best for me.
Ill be making a purchase from Jery at My Tractor Tools. He has pretty kick butt grapple system coming avaliable soon.

I appreciate your concern and will keep it in mind. But a bucket grapple was not the only point of this. But the thumb/grapple system he has. Jery has 3 different lower jaws to pick from along with many other ideas that only he can share with you.
Did you have other concerns that I may be misunderstanding. Feel free to contact me please.
Also would you consider my request about the hydro connections and lines.

More goodies... BX25 FORKS

While working on the bucket I realized I could attempt to make forks with
the brackerty I have fabbed up. Initially I was going to hang forks off the outter
brackets for the grapple but it was to close together. The bonehead I am I ordered shoulder bolts too long so the bolts you see here are 1" to long and they will be replaced. Regardless of my error the fork system came out really nice. They are directly in line w/ the FEL arms.

I built the bracketry and hung a pair of canibalized forks I bought from BXPANDED (Thank You HARRY!) The purists will bock at the green and orange colors in one picture, oh well, to bad, the wire mesh basket I made to last. I filled it till it was almost too heavy for the tractor and that is what you see. I am pleased... (PS, the green matches my log splitter that has not been pictured yet.

Keep the attachment ideas coming Brad. How deep are your pockets anyway?

Chris if I had deep pockets I wouldn't be makin' this chiot, I would BUY IT. I kid you not. If I want it I have to figure out a way to get it for less or I simply can't have it. If I had deep pockets I would be paying some of these extreamly talented attachment fabricators to make stuff for me.

Gosh the TACH N GO forks and system looks great. I would have a seperate bucket for each whim, if I could, instead of trying to cram 10 pounds of manure into a 5 pound manure bag! You have a guy making nice stuff to. I sure do wish all of them had one standard quick attachmnet main plate, (QA) and just built attachements though.

I have to take the toolbar off to use the forks and vice versa OR I get to move two teeth on the toothbar, oh well, just a thang plus all this WEIGHS and the lifting capacity of the BX25 is not one of it's strong points, tis why if I could I would have a different attachment for each whim.

Learning Curves; that greenNyella wire mesh basket I made plus that firewood is all's the tractor will lift. The brackerty, grapple mount, pins, hardware, and forks weigh almost 100 pounds and every pound you add subrtacts from the lifting capacity o fthe FEL. I guess I shouldn't biotch, that basket is a beast.

But leason be learned, I was gonna be sly and make a basket on the cheap, I paid 56 bucks for enough commercial shelving wire sections to make it then I found out how much freakin' steel costs. Oh man...I think I am in that basket almost 300 bux. Another mistake I made was to give the metal supply guy a list of materials cut to length, that was about 80 bux of it. THEN I ran out of .35 MIG wire, so I go to buy it and realize I needed a small roll for backup, so when I run out I can keep going and order more without having to stop, so a large roll of .35 wire, a small roll of .35 wire, two new pair of gloves welding gloves and some other trinket added almost 200 MORE BUX to it! LOL Oh man, ya can't win for loosin' .

This is my first tractor and probably not my last...we be a learnin'.

Having the right tools makes all the difference, last week I had to change a faucet that required a metric crow foot wrench in lieu of a basin wrench. Luckily I had both metric and fractional crowfoots and long extentions on the truck.


Thanks for posting the pics of your plumbing truck setup, I am always interested in seeing the way others deal with moving the equipment, tools and parts efficiently. Seems we think alike. I use a dump trailer similar to yours, PJ14k bumper pull with slide in rear ramps. Built this truck up from scratch in 99 for plumbing service work (tan truck) and built up the red trucks for construction and pulling the backhoe and tractors. Hopefullly I will have the time to paint and refurbish these trucks in the spring.

I hopeing that my parts show next week from Tach-N-Go. As soon as they do Ill take some shots for you. I will need to add an extra hydro line and control. As for deep pockets it was a sizable purchase in which I borrowed some money.
Once I have the system up and working I hope to do a write up for the forum showing the product and how good of a man Jery has been to deal with.
