BX25 Goodies

__Looks like I am getting a BX25. Below is a list of attachments I am considering.
__My question is, why do I NOT want this equipment and what / who makes better OR, if you were getting it, what would you do kinda deal..
__It is a small tractor, I think I am trying to keep all my attachments in the 48" range. The tiller is either a 42" or 50", I am opting for the 42 due to the fairly low PTO power of the BX25 at 17+ HP ...

All Implements are to come from Land Pride painted Kubota Orange.

The jury is still out on the hooks. ( I wish there were some large format, clear pictures of them...hint hint )

Ditch the disks, get a plow (12" single bottom). The disks and the tiller are kinda redundant. Land Pride is the Cadillac of implements too. Good implements can be had for much less money. I'd add a middle buster/potato plow to the list. Very handy for digging the taters.

The method of the madness is the tiller for landscaping prep work, making a garden etc, and the disc for knocking down potential fuel for fires here in SO Calif. They call it the Golden State cause everything is usually dead and dried up. There are many strict regulations here and I think I can capatalize on that w/ a disc that can be run at speed vs a tiller that is slow goin'.

You can plow yourself some fire breaks...

Several passes with a disk vs one pass with the tiller (for a garden at least).

I would consider the 42" RTR tiller unless someone has more experience than I do. I have a 48" Howse tiller that I use in the reverse tilling mode. My BX23 has plenty of power to run the tiller but I do not have enough traction to run with it all the way down. We are on fairly heavy clay. If I want to make a second pass the dirt is so loose from the first pass that my R4 tires can't get a bite. You might ask your dealer about someone else in your area that is running the landpride tillers and what they are running.
I hope you enjoy your BX25 as much as we enjoy our BX23.

yes the 5' rear blade angled covered width. give eye teeth for 48-50" rtr tiller think offset b pain cover wheel tracks slow twice???
