Am I the only one who disaasemblies the PHD? I made a pin to hold the auger on. Another to attach the gearbox to the frame. when I am done I remove the auger , gearbox, pto shaft The frame stands folded up against the barn wall secured by a bungee. The other parts just lean up against.

I just hooked it up recently and it was not problems other than the L5740 is Cat 2 links
Added bushings and wa hooked up in 5 mins

i might add I havent used it in 8-9 yrs so its not a high use item for us

May be. I am usually tired, sweaty & dirty enough when I'm done augerin' that about the last thing I wanna do is take apart a dirty/ greasy PHD when I can easily wrap a chain around it like in my pic & leave it hanging there.

I have a new Rhino L200 post hole digger. What stand would youu recommend I use? With Pats Easy Change System will putting the PHD on the tractor be easier?

Thanks. Any input appreciated!!

When we sold our 5th Wheel Camper I kept the tripod stand that fits under the front of the camper. I had been using it to store my PHD on. It is easy to move, folds up, adjustable in height, and works really well. I don't have a picture but it looks like the one in this photo.

I basically place the tripod under the PHD and set the legs then lower the 3 pt to rest the PHD on it.

Like it. I hang mine off a chain wrapped around a fork in a tree behind the barn. When that tree gets to tall I'll find another one.

That's funny!
At least the sattelite dish isn't growing. ;)

Same here, your not alone ! I (for now) don't use mine that much and also have it apart on floor of shop with 3 pt u-frame bar leaning against wall. When I do go to put it together I kinda use the method like on Ted's video. Yes more time consuming, but for me building it and putting on 3 pt no big deal, and no I'am not the incredible Hulk or Hunk, but don't consider myself a whimp either.

Please none of yous take this next comment in the wrong way,not trying to come across as a know it all smart a--,and I always enjoy pics and ideas on PHD's stand treads.
But those that have their PHD units suspended anywhere always be on alert or let it be known to others that when your not there that area/shop etc is off limits espiecially to curiuos children, grand kids, etc. :(
