I have a new Rhino L200 post hole digger. What stand would youu recommend I use? With Pats Easy Change System will putting the PHD on the tractor be easier?

Thanks. Any input appreciated!!

There are quite a few different types of stands. This is what I use. Bought everything for about $20, but that was 7 years ago. 3-4x4s and 2 Simpson hangers to hold the cross piece in place and yet still be easily removed.

How do you mount and dismount? It appears high and how do you get the shaft around the cross post? Can't quite visualize.

I was wondering the same thing. It looks like you would still have to pick it up by hand. On mine I just drill a hole in the ground then unhook it.

This is what I do also but still is a bit of manual tug and push.

I just mounted a 4x4 post across two more 4x4 posts, and then I suspend the PHD with a chain. This way, the PHD is VERY EASY to manuever into position to attach it to the tractor. Here's a pic that will give you the general idea.

The cross post is not permanent, it just held in place between with the U-Bracket at the top of each vertical post.

We have an old 10' satellite dish that is no longer used. I just hung the PHD from the dish frame with a short chain.

The 4x4 is not fastened, only setting in the saddles. My tractor is a 75hp, so a little bigger than a lot of your tractors. No struggling at all. Takes right at 7-8 minutes to have it hitched up and PTO hooked up. The parking height height is determined when the PHD is attached to the tractor. That way you know that you have enough lift to get the weight off the cross bar once you have the PHD hitched up and can remove the cross post and drive away.
