I have a customer that I mow his 15 acre's for once a yr. he told me that he had a broken 72" disc in some tree's, he had parked it there after breaking 3 of the rear hangers and bent one axle. He told me I could have it, If I would just haul it off his property. and it's a Howse disc, So I did, now after 2 yrs. I have started getting the parts for it, and wah-laa free 72" disc thats only going to cost me $180.00 in parts. now to strip it down for an overhaul and paint job. We'll see how this turns out this winter.
I figure $180.00 is better than $1200.00 for a new one....
Seems the blades are almost like new, they are all the notched type blades.
