Generator John deere PTO generator info needed

I just purchaced a used John deere PTO generator made by ONAN corp.
1984- or newer

T.D type 15.0Kw
J.D serial HE 648977
Codes 15.0YD-3G/196AA
Codes B830648977

I would like to get the parts, operator/owners and service manual for this unit.

Does any one know where to get them, John Deere dealer said they couldn't.

The 15.0YD-3G/196AA looks close to a AGRO-POWER tractor driven alternator model 151C specification 15.0YD-3G/197.

i'm kinda surprised jd cannot get manuals. you can get jd manuals for equipment from the 30's

I think is it because John deere had someone else make the product and painted it green and put stickers on it.
I called the 1-800-522-7448 number which is for John Deere manuals
people and they couldn't find it either.

There is a generator thread at skokestak web site its mainly an old traction and steam engines. Lot of knowledgeable generator people there. Post your question there and I'll bet you get an answer.
