Hello Jon,

Are you shopping fpr snow casters or do you have your mind set on a pull behind snow caster? These snow casters require more power AND if you have deep snows with low frame clearance they can be more dificult to use especially with deep storm dumping accumulations.

Hi sorry, actually I put the snow thrower info on just so one knows the machine I have but I am looking for a lawn mowing attachment to mow lawn with. I have been told my only option is a pull one.

If I am reading this right, you are looking for a rear finish mower (RFM). They work well, but they are a little awkward if you are thinking of mowing a smaller lawn. usually 3 point mounted, runs on casters to maintain a consistent height, and is powered off the PTO. I think they normally run between $1k and $4K depending on size and build quality. I have a 60" Land Pride unit I got new for $1500 that I run on my Kubota B2620. I can get most of the lawn really easy, but it's a small tractor and mower.

Thx - I guess I will keep my eyes out for a very used one. I have about 3/4 acre to mow. If I use my PTO for my snow thrower, would I have to detatch that?
