I'll take delivery of my new 7500 hst next week. I upgrade the alternator, got the block heater, grill guard, mmm and a new tiller & farm wagon (I'm a big gardner) I had originally ordered a woods 5' rear blade but absolutely did not like the quality of the blade (the 3 pt structure is good) compared to a Befco.

I need some advise on a blade selection. I like the befco hands down to the woods but its 175 more. OUCH! Is there another manufacture that is recommended? Landpride? others?. I know the woods will work but i can't tell you how many twisted woods blades ive seen in the last 2 months. Again, the structure is great but the blade rigidity is sub part in my optinion.

Thanks

You should try the Woods HBL72-2 blades. I bet you a dollar you can bent it. I couldn't bend my HBL84-2 blade, instead I bent my 3pt arms /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif ,using a 43HP tractor with chains!

I'm very happy with the Woods quality. My blade and rake have worked great and have not let me down. I just purchased a Brush Bull (by Woods) 720 rotary cutter. THat baby is beefy! Beefiest 72" cutter I could find.

Congrats on your tractor! When I end up getting a smaller one that b7500hst is the one.

I have a WOODS RB60 and have used it a great deal without any problems...

I've been using my 7500hst for almost a year now. To clear snow and light grading on my 400' drive I have used a 6' Kodiak blade. No, it's not the biggest, baddest blade on the block, but I've put it through a very tough winter with no problems. Price was right ($235), and I added wheels so not to washboard my drive.
Questions about the bigger altenator:
1 - Why bigger? (More lights? electric fan?)
2 - What is the part# and is it a Kubota or other brand?
3 - How much $
4 - Did you install it or your dealer?
5 - Does it do what you need it to do?
Thanks

Cchoate,

The idea of a rear blade on wheels for snow removal is marvelous. Can you post more pictures of the implement?. Is it something that can easily be removed?

Here's another picture. I can remove/install them with 2 bolts each. For my useage, they work better than shoes and they swivel so you can go forward or backward.
