Time to start mowing again. Turned my cutter up on it's side to sharpen the blades. Found they were "frozen" to the stump jumper as usual. Each spring I find that they have accumulated grass, dirt, baling string, etc. and rust from sitting over the winter so that the blades do not swing freely as they should. After soaking in penetrating fluid, WD40, and finally gear oil, and using more than a little muscle /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, they were again swinging freely. Good idea to make sure yours are free as they are designed that way to take some of the shock out of hitting large objects.
