Got a G20/40 post hole digger and was wanting to connect to my Kubota L4400. The connection of the PTO shaft looks like it has 2 little "balls" in the PTO shaft that connects to the tractor. I have a rotary cutter and the connection requires that I push a button in and then slide the PTO onto the tractor. The G20/40 has no button to push. The Danuser slides on to the point of the "balls" and wont go any farther. It seems like the PTO shaft needs to slide in further. I was thinking the "balls" would push in and let the Shaft slide onto the tractor and lock in, but in won't. Any suggestions?

One more thing to add...I just bought the PHD from a guy that has a John Deere. Didnt know if the PTO on JD's have spaces for these "bumps" I call them "bumps" because I didnt know any other name for them. There are 2 of them opposite each other on the interior of the PTO connection from the Danuser PHD

The common connections are the pin type like you have on your rotary cutter and a collar type. The collar sits around the end of the shaft and if you pull it back it releases the balls in there allowing them to move back and let you slide the pto all the way up the shaft. Its a little tricky getting use to the collar type as you need to pull the collar back as you push the pto forward on the tractor pto shaft.

Thx for the info. As you all might be able to tell, Im new at tractor ownership. I think you may be right about the collar. I seems like it could be that. I didnt try to pull it back while I was placing the PTO shaft. Ill try soon and let all know
