Kubota L48
First a little background, Hi I'm chad. I'm 25 and own a 73 acre farm (bought from G-pa 3yrs ago). I have a JD 6200L and a Kubota L48 TLB. I have never taken the BH off the L48 and possibly never will since I have the JD. I don't farm the ground currently though. The fiance, her friends, and myself have done a 1-2 acre garden for the past 2 years and plan to continue doing it. Before my neighbor would come down and plow it for me, then I would rototill the area where the hand planting was go on. Well the old troybilt pony blew up over the summer while doing some inbetween the rows weed control.

Sorry, onto my question:

I found a 3pt rototiller on craigslist and before i even begin to consider calling the guy and going to take a look at it I want to know if his price is in the ballpark of reason.

Maschio rotovator, NC-180C, bought new 1994. 70" bed. Good condition. Asking $1300

Doing so searching I haven't found this model at all to compare pricing on. Does anyone know specs on this unit and can tell me what price range i should expect to actually pay? Im not sure its even worth buying for my application either. maybe my new to me 2 bottom plow, old disk i found in the weeds, and another small rototiller is better suited for me. I havent decided that yet. Thanks for your insight.

doesnt look to bad, i would check out the tines and check to see if it is gear driven or chain driven, gear driven is obviously better and I would check the fluids, we have tines here for 6 bux a piece, if all fluids are good I would try to get em down to 1000 for sure a new one gear driven is about 2500.oo, hope this helps
