Lubricating the LA524 Loader control linkage.
Still trying to get some insight on this. The manual says to lubricate the control lever linkage every 10 hours. I understand a grease spray will work however what parts exactly need to be lubricated?
There's a cover underneath the control lever. Does that need to be removed to access parts of the linkage?
It's a Kubota L3800.

Re: Lubricating the LA524 Loader control linkage.
I could be wrong, but I think they do mean the lever linkage. On the LA463 loader control, there's a fair bit of linkage visible when you look under the plastic cover, at the end of the lever itself. I simply spray that with grease.
I've not removed the top cover yet, although I may try that this week if I get some time.

OK thanks. Easy to remove the cover? Just those bolts on the bottom of it?

Ok, I found some time... this is what's under the plastic cover. You remove 3 of the 5 6mm bolts (10 mm heads) and the cover is loose, pull it off and you have free access to the pivot points. Don't overtighten the screws when reassembling the cover, the plastic may be brittle. I didn't break it, but the thought occurred to me.
