Westendorf Brush Crushers again
I've been reading about and looking at the Westendorf Brush crusher, on here, and elsewhere online, but maybe due to the holidays, I'm having trouble getting information on them. I tried the company web-site, but I'm not giving out my phone number, e-mail and other information to a company just so they can sell me something, I'm not asking for credit, and don't pay the phone company for an unlisted line to voluntarily give out my number to sales people.
I tried e-mail, and they sent me a brochure. I just want to know who the dealers are that sell them in Texas, and I'll get prices from the dealers, and buy one if I finally decide to, but I can't find any online. Since I've seen someone from the company posting on here a few years ago, I was hoping I could find out if maybe the company was shut down for Christmas and New Year's or something?
If anyone on here knows who some dealers for this attachment are in Texas, (Houston, Austin, DFW?), I'd appreciate either a response or maybe a PM.
Thanks.

Front-End Loaders by Westendorf: loader for tractor, shade canopy, wagons, manure & landscaping equipment.
Pretty poor website that doesn't have a dealer locator
TractorByNet.com, WAS next best thing to seat time - not any more.

I don't know, if I wasn't willing to give out any contact information to a company could I be up set with them for not getting back to me?

I saw these and wondered how they could be better than a grapple. Not saying they aren't just wonder how they could compare.

Re: Westendorf Brush Crushers again
Well, MarkV, they wanted my phone number, address, e-mail, and a full page of information. I wasn't asking for credit, just for information about a product they were selling. If the equipment were security sensitive, I might understand not replying to simply an e-mail address, but I don't think it is that type of equipment. If someone asks me a question about something I'm selling, I always answer it. If I don't respond to a potential customer, even a "tire-kicker", I'll get pretty hungry, eating my high-handed attitude.

Fill in the information with bogus information... except for e-mail address, then explain in the comment section what you did and why, and say that you JUST need a dealer link.
I am curious about the price, shouldn't be too much, what with no extra hydraulics but... I assume if you have to ask for the price, it's going to be BIG bucks - otherwise, they would be posting prices.TractorByNet.com, WAS next best thing to seat time - not any more.

Re: Westendorf Brush Crushers again
Thanks, they finally responded to my e-mail. They say that their company requires them to make a phone call for a "personal" contact. Unfortunately, I can't talk right now, and even when I'm not sick, I positively HATE talking to people I don't know on the phone.
Some people don't like strawberries, and I don't like telephones.
However, they seem understanding now, and forwarded a list of dealers, and particularly when I explained via e-mail that I am presently unable (or at least doctor-ordered not) to talk.

Dex. These are not to be compared to a grapple with work criteria anyway. These pincers come in very handy for those unable or non desirous of installing any other remote hydraulic hook up to actuate an additional attachment. These need nothing but the already there mounting holes as they are fel cylinder actuated.

Re: Westendorf Brush Crushers again
I also emailed Westendorf and filled out the info. I got sent a nice brochure of all their stuff and no one other than email attempted to contact me. This is not like a car dealership when they attempt to play "Dialing for dollars" to think to garner a sale. I have found them to be very accommodating and they answered all my stupid questions and were even willing to modify pin location on one of their attachments. I think your inferred accusations of them to be premature.
