72 inch Rachet Rake on sale at TSC $199

I know this is mentioned in another couple of posts on Rachet rakes but I thought it was such a great deal that it deserved a new thread.
For some reason TSC is really trying to clear out their 72 inch rachet rakes.
The 359.00 tag was still on mine but it rings up 199.00. All other sizes are not on sale.

Yep!
Bought one today, the problem for the deal ----------- I really needed the 68" for my Kubota LA463 bucket. The 72" has the support brackets centered at the edges of the bucket.
The difference in width is one "Tooth", look at the spec sheet / pic's on there web page --
60" - 17 teeth, 72" has 18 teeth which makes the unit stick out 6" past my wheel base each side!
Plan to move the brackets in one tooth!!!!!!

68" Bucket Fits 60-72" width #1125023
72" Bucket Fits 66-72" width #1125031

For the difference of $170.00 I can put my grinder and welder to use to "Adjust" the support brackets.

I just got the last 72" one at the TSC Fredericksburg VA for $199 but they have the other lengths at full price. The nice lady at Ratchet Rake said TSC is discontinuing the 72" (hence the clearance price). She wasn't sure if it was temporary or permanent. The clerk at TSC confirmed that is why they are on clearance. He didn't know what they are and said he never sold any. That is probably because they had them around back. I'd asked for them there before but didn't have any luck until I got the SKU. The 72" SKU is 1125031. The SKUs for the other lengths are 1125015 for the 52" and 1125023 for the 68".

The sku # is 1125031 for the 72 inch.

I don't think you can buy it online for this price.
Your best bet is to Call your closet Tractor supply location and ask give them the above sku # and have them check availaiblilty and price (that is what I did).

I think most stores only have one or two rachet rakes that size in stock

I am not too familar with the ratchet rack and was wondering what everyone is using them for. I looked at the website and think it looks interesting but I already have a landscape rake so I was not too sure it would be real handy or not. the price sounds great however!

Did you look at the video? I bought mine primarily for brush clearing.
