63-64 Ford 4000
Hello,

Can anyone give me advice on what type of front loader may fit on my 1963-1964 Ford 4000. Specifically, will a Ford 720 fit?

Also, i have a Ford 770B loader that does not fit and am hoping to make a trade for one that will fit my tractor.

I am a new tractor owner and am just starting to familiarize myself with all this fun stuff.

i'd look for something like a twin draulic, or superior loader for an 00/01 series modle.

the 730 usually hung on a 3 cyl afaik.

yep..

if ag.. it will have an anemic adjustable axle with radius rods anyway. not even 'light duty' 1pc / NA ;)

so if it isn't considered light duty, is the front end not set up for a front end loader?

Lots of people have loaders on their 60's-70's ag Fords, I do. However the ag front end is a weak link IMO. I have broken several spindles, and I worry about the casting the pivot pin fits in to. If you're going to be conservative with a loader it will be fine, but heavy duty work is dicey.
