That's why I have a trailer! A lot easier to deal with implements. Worst case, tilt the trailer and use a come-a-long to drag an implement on/off the trailer. Good job.

Ya, I have a pretty good trailer too. It takes a lot of fuel to pull it so I decided to try the van. :)

I bet the folks loved seeing you pull up to pick up that tiller. I would have to say, I have never had to load such a piece of equipment in such a auto before. I have done some strange loading before, but that bets them all.

Looks like someone done some mods to the safety system on that tractor unit.

I have a lot of people from up your way wanting to do the same thing you did about getting around the import tax. I have done a lot of close boarder dropping. It appears that a lot of people up your way also work at businesses in the US.

I hope that you left that really thick oil in the gear cases. That clear thick oil is what KK being adding to the units before shipping.

I know you will enjoy the unit. I would also recommend doing what has already been advise to you. Check out the slip clutch and try to make it slip and check it to see how much force it takes to slip it. For sure check to make sure the shaft does not bottom out when lift the unit up with the 3 point, and check to see it is clearing any draw bar when the unit is at full digging depth. I have a lot customers forget about their draw bars and when the unit digs down and set down their shaft jams against the draw bars.

Ha ha ha! So you had a video after all! That is awesome. I definitely get it about the gas mileage when pulling a trailer. I try to limit its use also. You obviously were very confident about getting this loaded on the other end. That was a long drive just to experiment. I'm guessing you did some careful measuring before setting out. If someone had asked me if you could load a 700 lb PTO tiller in the back of a mini van I would have said no, definitely not. Now we have video to prove I would have been wrong. This was great. Thanks for sharing.

Didn't do any careful measuring because I didn't have any dimentions on the tiller. All I knew was it was approximately 60" long. It was only 200miles away so I took a gamble. Lol.

Don't you love the HST? Makes job like that easy.

I only have 9 hours on the machine but I couldn't imagine life without HST. Gear would be a major PITA for what I do.
