it has sway to it and needs to corrected for proper clerance and dumping. the axle tube has a twist to it from being over loaded. hitch needs attention also.
ive had it for about a year and just now getting to repair it...

Nice piece of equipment, I'd love to have one like that. Can you tell how much capacity it is? I'm surprised small dirt pans aren't more common and affordable. Seems like there'd be a big market for them...
Let's us know how it cleans up!

its about a yard and a quarter im guessing. if i remember rite its 5 1/2' wide.
ive had a number of guys ask if they can use it. i gave 200 for it at a local auction last spring.

i planned on using it to cut a small waterway from the side of my house to the ditch.

Never saw one like that. Had to look a second time, to figure out how it dumped.. Slick..!! Should be pretty sweet behind that 420.

Dad ran a 430 for a neighbor for extra cash when I was a teen. I got to run it some, if we were winching out trees. I loved that 'lil tractor..!!

One sold here late last year,--- they ran it up to $3,500 BUT I know for a fact that it did not sell!

I have a 2.5 yard Speedline 600 that will stop a td-9 dead in its tracks,---so dont expect to do much more than scrape very light cuts!---it will work that way but not a hoggin unit! LOL! ---have fun with it anyway!---sorry I dont remember the brand, but tag was on the front of the unit with model and serial #'s on the one I saw! thanks; sonny

the same one? for 3500?? uff-daa!! figured i over paid at 200, i figured i couldnt buy the steel to build whats there. one guy said it was a Henry, but ive seen a couple of them before, same idea but did not look quite the same.

i did play with it behind a 8n ford in loose black dirt and boy, it was a time and back saver.

A friend has a Henry scraper he picked up at auction for about $50. Yours isn't a Henry. I had to do some fixing on the hydraulic cylinder on his and he pulled it behind my old JD R. It worked quite well as long as he was careful not to try to take too deep a cut. He was quite pleased with the speed that he could move dirt with it. I can remember when I was maybe 4 years old or so my dad borrowed the municipality's communal scrapper and it was a Henry also, looked identical to the one my buddy bought.

Hello nnaatz, I was looking at your dirt scraper, I used to have one just like it but some one STOLE it, I sure would like to find it. It was just the right size for an IH M. OK the mfg: Montgomary Wards, It will hold from 3/4 - 1 yds of dirt. They were a very nice and very usable unit.

Something similar I have laying around - front loading dirt/silt scoop configured for 3PL or trailing application - built "heavy duty" by a company named Trac-Quip & very handy for smaller earthmoving jobs
