Good move, RH. I am confident you will be happy with it, as I and all the rest of those here that bought it, have been.

I've got a 5' AnBo Grapple that I think weighs a little over 600lbs and its tines are 3/4". The thing is built super tough but I've still bent 2 of them a little. I'd probably worry a bit about 3/8" stock although weight is an issue. My tractor's similar to yours I think and my grapple weight is definitely the max I'd want at the front. I looked online and my model's discontinued but the equivalent model uses 1/2" stock. Bigger ones still use 3/4". They do even have some using 3/8" stock but they weigh considerably less.

As Red hores said,"I am not a cowboy so it should be adequate." Well stated. Now For myself, guess you can call me a "cowboy" and i'm sure that grapple would fit my needs nicely without worries. I have purchased form this company before, ( skidsteer express) and found them a repitable company to do business with. I purchased the forks on-line on a sunday and the next day the owner believe his name was Bill called to imform me my order was delaped a coulpe of days because they run out of "forks" in the size i needed. I asked why they didn't post their address or phone number, His reply, their a small company and don't want to waste money on someone to answer the phone 8 hours a day. Not showing an address eliminates a lot of "overhead" also. The Number the gentleman called from was displayed on my phone and he told me to call with any questions or concerns on my order. Well the next day i decided to call the number and he answered! He called a couple a days later informing me my forks were shipped and there was a tracking number awaiting in my e-mail.
I was ready to buy the 60" rock grapple listed but work has stopped now and not much money coming in but later in the year i plan on getting that set. IMO its a good trust worthy company and i'l buy again from them. . . .John
Heres a couple of pictures on the forks from SkidSteer Express in use. This is almost an everyday use for these and holding up great!

I think this company is fine too. I almost bought a grapple from them, but I found a used bradco that was local. About 18 months ago I did buy my pallet fork/hay spear combo from them and have been very pleased. I already had the forks to put on the frame, so all it cost me was $395 to get the frame with 1 long spear and 2 short spears. The one I got is acutally braced better than the one in the picture on their website.

I also got a 72 ROOT GRAPPLE-RAKE STYLE
root rock brush grapple from them. mine is 1/2" thick, plenty heavy enough for my tractor. I had good luck with them as well.

Wow, nowhere in their web page can I find a location.

Warning, Warning Will Robinson. Danger alert.

i found it and they want 100 dollars less for it than what he gave

On their website, it says that grapple, (Root4RG-R60), is 3/8" with 1/2" side plates.

The one you got has 1/2" thickness end/side plates and the rest of it is 3/8"?

I have a general question about these grapples. They weigh in at 600# each. The bucket it replaced was probably fairly light by comparison. What do these grapples do to the useful loads on these tractors??? Seems like they really reduce what you can haul

The side plates are not 1/2" they are 3/8" just like the rest of it. I see that they did not change that part. It's seems to be put together well' or seems to be . I like the way I'd be able to use it back raking also and to bring the load in closer to the loader , maybe help on heaver loads.

I think that I saw my bucket is somewhere just under 400lbs. The grapple is 600lbs so that is a 200lbs diff in weight.

oh,... i never thought an empty bucket was that heavy. they sure move around easily by sliding when off. Ive never weighed mine either.
