Titanskidsteer - do you guys offer the kubota Quick Coupler as an option on your pallet fork frames? Not the SS quick attach, I'm looking for the Kubota OEM quick coupler. (Kubota B3200 with LA504 loader)

    Thanks

Picked mine up yesterday also. Only had time to set'em up as they came un-assembled, and on the loader. Very impressed looking at the welds, paint, forks, everything. Definitely one of my better implement buys for sure.

Had them shipped to the deere dealer and got ribbed about not buy'n Deere forks from them price vs. quality, Deere this, Deere thatyada, yada, yada. I did remind the fella I did buy a Deere tractor new from them, and still buy filters and different parts.....

I like Deere, but I just do not get why or how such a big global powerful implement manufacturer seems to value there stuff average about double of what like implements from other makes.....

When I showed up to pick them up, sales guy was impressed with the build of the pallet fork attachment and really taken by the price..... 'I would have bought these too, could not have bought the metal and forks and built it myself for cheaper'..... was his comment and my exact thinking

JD marks up everything they resale.

While I do not use them that often but my manual thumb and chain on forks are back savers when I need them. My old JD is too old for anything quick attach.

Sounds like you found a great source. My source closed up shop on Ebay but I expect it was the price of steel and competing in the low end market where there was no real margins.

Tried them out yesterday, been doing a Full Maintenance service on the Tractor on Monday and Tuesday but got that finished and moved a few downed trees and stumps after

So far so good, the stabilizer bar between the two I would highly recommend if you are using these for moving Brush, Trees, Stumps, Oddly shaped stuff...

    Question???

Does anyone have pics of a Bent Bucket, all I have read is "Be careful these will bend your bucket" yet after quite a bit of searching I have yet to find proof of this..

I am not doubting that it can happen,(Sounds Logical) but it seems that you would really have to try hard to do it, and from the multiple warnings I assumed that it would be quite easy to find proof of this happening...

gssixgun those are very nice looking forks and I see they are set up so they can chained on to reduce the load on the cutting edge by moving more of it to the entire bucket.

I have yet to see the warning AND a photo of a bent bucket.

On our old JD 310B FEL I have made both the curl and straight lift controls go into by-pass mode testing our add on forks trying to lift a tall stack of very wet with treatment plywood (pressure treated). I did deform one on the links in the chain and the binder look popped but caught on the next link in the chain.

When I got off to inspect the damage there was non other than the deformed link of chain that is still in use today.

My take at least on the chain on version is bending of the FEL bucket would be very hard to do and if it did one could expect operator abuse as a leading cause.

I have had the same concern in using our manual thumb but so far it seems if the hydraulics will lift the load the metal does not bend. I think most makers of equipment do engineer the pressure relief valves correctly. There are times I wish for more power before going into by-pass mode but if that did it might be like putting a penny under a blown fuse the get power flowing again. It might work for a short while then not work at all for a long while.

This is my Primary function for this set up, when I limb the trees around the property I can just toss them on here and move them easily..

I was stretching a logging chain out across the ground then carefully stacking up the pile, wrapping the chain around the pile while basically laying on it, then dragging the whole thing down the road behind one of the ATV's then having to reverse the whole process..

Today I just set the bucket at waist high near the trees, cut the branches and tossed them on.. No muss, no fuss, and no trail of branches down the road, cut the work time in less then half..

    Nice place you have.

I purchased the second set for making burn piles where we are cleaning up some ground but have not used them yet. I was having problems with short cuts falling through with just two forks so I will try with them on 24" centers.

Has anyone from Canada (Ontario), bought a grapple bucket from PalletForks.com ? If so how did the shipping & customs etc. work out ? I'm wanting a 72" set & was curious.

    Thanks,
    Steve
