Awesome.. was just gonna post and ask about them.. Seem to have some nice stuff for little money.

Now, anyone wanna give advice on buying bucket forks? For $250 should I buy the forged 6000lb rated ones, or the triple box beam 5000lbs ones? Which would be more useful around a wooded property?

    Thanks

You said 3rd so I assume you have alternate two sided upper claws. Can you raise them both with just the one auxillary? I have all the hydraulics to cover a 6 way blade or backhoe, but if you don't have them you may want to call this number. 901 571 5472. He is an expert on auxillary hydualics. Tell him your problem and ask him who could install it. Maybe you can. I am not that gifted on measuring, cutting and fitting hydualics. Good luck. Ernie I have a little problem also. Bought that great Grapple Root Rake bucket, but can't get my bucket off and it is a quick attach. It looks like someone welded it on and I have heard some do so now it sits in the garage until I figure it out or grind the welds. Maybe I just don't know how, but seems pretty simple to me. I am taking out some very big trees and all near wires and water pipes. A little scary, but so far no mishaps and this bucket is not as good as a Grapple Root Rake or stump bucket, but work around any tree and it will fall sooner or later or snap off at the bottom and then you still have to dig down deep to get the stump out. These big black oaks are Heavy!!!

Just must say I bought a trailer hitch attachment from atvxpress, it had a minor issue that could have been from shipping which they immediately remedied and took care of me. A+ service and the price couldn't be beat.

Going to order their 3-point skid loader QA now and noticed they have this "new" to me name.

Beats her telling you "you have a chainsaw, just cut them small enough to fit in the FEL and load them up..."...

Anxious to hear shipping times, I've been shopping around and haven't yet made my choice.

Update: My bucket on the skid steer was definitely welded on. My mechanic will grind the bucket off. Quite a job! Guy must have used it just to push over tree's which brings me to the damage. I have an expert welder cutting my undercarriage and straightening out the undercarriage, but also the bucket arms (rams) or what ever you call them are bent. The whole side of the undercarriage was leaning down to the inside toward the frame and ate 3"s of my track all the way around. It will be expensive, but need one track, two hydraulic drive assemblies and who knows what else. Cut 1" plywood to make a new seat, added new head lights, fixed a hydraulic leak and new paint and decals. Also am re-working cage and/or re-routing hydraulic hoses so they don't rub on cage when doing high lifts. When the work is all done I will post. Oh Northern Tool sells a Root bucket for about $500. Not super heavy duty, but if you go out far enough from any tree and cut the roots there you should be ok. Sharp teeth and when you back away it cuts the roots.

Will a light weight 60" or 72" grapple stand up rooting up privet or should the root grapple be purchased?

Has anyone damaged their light weight grapple doing heavier work?

Is the light weight grapple made in the USA?

    Thanks, Jim
