Titan Skidsteer,
What thickness is your round and square structural tube? Both on the 60 and 72"rake grapple.

Re: PalletForks.com - 60" Grapple Buckets $1095 - 42" Pallet Forks $524 & More!
I want to give these guys two really big thumbs up. I had ordered a 48inch pallet fork with bale spear 5-12-12. Which was a Friday afternoon. I had the pallet forks delivered to me wensday morning. I could not be more pleased with their product. I have used the forks for everything from moving brush to moving equipment around, to carrying a water barrel for trees. I was not expecting 490 pounds of attachment. I am very pleased they are built as tough as heavy as they are.
For the money i could not find a single better product then what you guys deliver. Plus with the bale attachment all in one! For 750 bucks i got two attachments in one, and saved my self 700 bucks.
Once again two big thumbs up.

Re: PalletForks.com - 60" Grapple Buckets $1095 - 42" Pallet Forks $524 & More!
The set of three clamp/chain on pallet forks look nice.
While a different brand we have a chain on set of two. For a cheap bush moving/pile stacking solution we bought another set so we have the 3 or 4 fork option. We found with just two forks we were coming up with some cuts that were too short and the daughter said we needed at least one more.
As others have noted the biggest downside to the clamp/chain on option is one has to work blind due to the bucket blocking vision. I just make sure I have a set of eyes on the ground and that helps a lot.
I am impressed how easy they are to attach/remove and cost so little yet make a FEL much more useful and labor saving for those of us that have no way to use the FEL if we remove the 'fixed' bucket.
Quality comment: Look at the prices paid. If the JD/Case/etc solution is $2000 and you are buying a $500 version of the same solution expect it to bend/break if used like the $2000 option. It is NOT the color of paint that added value to attachments but the metal/design that goes into them.
Look at the design/metal limitations that permitted you to borrow less money to make the purchase and use the attachments with that info in the brain.
Our forks and thumb attachments are low end and I could trash them any day that I use them. They do a lot of hard work but I watch for binding and stressing all the time they are in use.
Keep in mind that add on things like forks, grapples, thumbs can be installed in ways that will almost ensure part failure and the makers have not real control over these kinds of factors. Hydraulic operated attachments need to use pressure by-pass controls that only permit pressures that are less than the break point of what the cylinders are moving. I expect that is seldom considered by many equipment owners.
Every one and every machine has a breaking point. With machines you just want it to be the part that is the cheapest and most easy to change.
If it was not for companies making low end solutions I would have fewer solutions.

Re: PalletForks.com - 60" Grapple Buckets $1095 - 42" Pallet Forks $524 & More!
Can you tell me if the clamp on forks have a pivot pad where it clamps to the bucket (like a C-clamp does) or is it just a cupped end that bites into the bucket?
On the site it doesn't show the clamp very good in the pics and I was told the clamps without a pad can dent the heck out of the bucket.
I don't want them moving around but I don't want to damage the bucket either.
Does anyone have these clamps and care to share their opinions on them.
They look like nice forks at a good price and I'm thinking about getting a set...
Thanks, Glen

Loader Forks Bucket Forks Skid Tractor Pallet Fork | eBay
Glen we went the chain-on route since we have a large FEL. The clamp-on we looked at where more like bolts with a metal rod welded on the bolt to form a T handle.
Keep in mind you are working blind to a large degree due to the bucket blocking your vision. We added a second set for piling brush. These are made from heavy oil field pipe. I was not impressed when FedEx dropped them off but in use they are quite impressive for the $149 price and flexibility.

Re: PalletForks.com - 60" Grapple Buckets $1095 - 42" Pallet Forks $524 & More!
Hi All
Just want to put in my 2 cents. I ordered a combo kit of pallet forks and a bale spear from Pallet Forks .com I am glade I did, one thing you have to remember that with the bolt on forks that the load is riding a few small points and your load is now several feet out past your bucket. This is going to cause a lot of leverage issues here and will greatly lower your left capacity of your FEL! If you get the type I got, you lose your bucket and slip on forks. It uses the same attachment as the bucket and is at the same length as before so you should not lose any lift capacity. Further you can see what you are doing a whole lot better! Just my two cents.

They sound nice. Can you post a link to what you are talking about.
In our case we have a bucket that we can not loose so I found the chain on to be the next best thing since the load is spread out over and under the bucket and not just on the cutting edge.
