That is a nice set of forks for sure.
Re: PalletForks.com - 60" Grapple Buckets $1095 - 42" Pallet Forks $524 & More!
Thanks for the info guys... Those look nice but unfortunately I don't have a quick attach bucket. It doesn't come on the small Kioti CK20s HST we have. The bigger ones have it standard but were a bit more $$$ and would be a tighter fit on our property. It's pretty wooded and the CK20 is pretty nimble for getting the firewood out.
I mostly need some lighter duty forks for moving pallets around. I wont be loading the pallets up with block or anything heavy, and if I did, I'd be sure to keep within reasonable weight ranges. Our little CUT is not going to pick up a ton anyways. :confused2: I have several plastic pallets in the barn that I figure would work nice for moving stuff around.
We always have mulch, and other stuff that would be easier to move around and store right on a pallet that I can set where we need it and put it away in the barn when done.
Later, Glen

Glen for your needs and with your full understanding of the limitations I think you will be pleased with the chain-on or bolt-on forks. Like you we can not remove our loader bucket being an old full size backhoe.
The chain-on forks like we use spreads the load out between the cutting edge, back bottom edge of bucket and top edge of the bucket. You can see that in the different photos on the ebay link that I posted.
Note the $149 set of forks does require binders if you do not already own them. So far our forks have not broke or bent when trying to lift pallets of concrete blocks but it does go into by-pass mode sometimes so we have to put some of the load on another pallet by hand.
I have large physical limitations so I need the forks so bad that I just learn to live with their limitations to help over come mine. Let us know what solution you try.

I also have physical limitations that really bug me when my wife or family members end up doing things for me or without my help. I figure the tractor would allow me to do that much more with a set of forks to move supplies and such around. I used to run forklifts at work and had to take some basic training classes for that years ago so I know a bit about being safe and how to use forks.
The chain on forks sound real good. I assume that would help with the side to side pivoting I've heard other clamp on forks seem to have too.
Maybe I'll order a set of chain-ons with the ratchet binders...

Hello Joe,
For me and my Branson the fit was like a glove! Just as tight as with the factory bucket. I am very pleased with them!

Hi
When you talked about physical limitations, it reminded me that was one of the reasons I bought my tractor! Our little farm has grown and I could continue to bust and possablely blow out my back or get a tractor to help with the work. Based on what you wrote I also believe that the bolt on forks will work for you. You know the limits it will put on your FEL and as long as you respect it no issues.
All the best to you!
Farm Guy

Just started using Google for image searches and here are some forks.
I like the GC chain on forks that we got because they protect the cutting edge from catching a lot of the torque forces of the clamp on style.
