Very nice tractor by the way. It looks like you are all set for some grappling. As far as the size (and type) of grapple goes, there are many threads on that subject that you might want to search for and read. The primary question revolves around what do you want to do with the grapple. ie picking up logs, moving debris, grubbing brush, etc. Of course selecting the proper size is important, they can be heavy. You look to have a stout FEL, but if you add a 900 lb grapple on there and then look to move large boulders, you might be disappointed.

Making brush piles! And so far I've got a little over 50 trees down to cut up for fire wood want to use it as a back saver so I can stand and cut and take the tee to the pile before I cut it so I don't have to handle it so much

That being the case I would go with the open bottom style, I would not go for the rake style. It looks like you can lift 2600 lbs at the pins, so even a 700 lb grapple is going to leave you with 1900 lbs at the pins (less at the load).

OK thanks! I need to get my manual out and see for sure what my lift is! I was thinking of getting a 6 ft one that the same size as my bucket but after reading sum other ones on he they say go smaller? Just haven't decided on that yet! What are your thoughts on that?

Check your manual against this listing

I would go with a narrow grapple if you are going to be digging out roots with it. Otherwise I believe attachments should be the outside width of the tires.
