Massey ferguson 12 square baler
Anyone have experience with a mf 12 baler. What do/did you run it with. How hp many would work, how big were the bales it put out in pounds.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Massey ferguson 12 square baler
I have a MF124 baler (small squares) similar to yours. The bales are 30-60 lb depending on type of crop and the setting on the bale length control.
HP: the 124 manual says 35 hp (pto). I run my 124 with a 2008 Mahindra 5525 (54 hp engine, 45 hp pto) with no problem. The 124 can be run with smaller tractors. This YouTube shows one being run with a Farmall Super A (16 hp pto).
