Has anyone purchased a 3 pt. receiver hitch manufactured by Flexpoint ? If so I would like to hear about the quality of it .and any pros and cons about it.

I am using the Flexpoint 3 point receiver hitch. I have been very pleased with it . The only con I can think of is the price - if you look through the posts you will find a lot of folks have made their own, and can do so for much less than the Flexpoint. However, I needed something quick, and did not have any spare time when I needed the thing - I haven't been sorry I purchased it.

I got mine (see attached) from Quality Farm & Fleet when they were going out of business. I use it to pull around a 48" steel lawn roller. I think it is a quality product. I think I got it on sale for around $60. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am about in the same boat as You.I do not weld and have researched all the welding shops and machine shops here and they all want a drawing with dimensions..................I know of one place in Frankfort Ky that will make one for $150 and it is close to the same thing as the one Bad Rivers manufactures!

I think I wil order one from Northern Tool but they are like $199 + shipping and tax.

Thank You So Much for the info

Spencer You got it dirt cheap is all I can say /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif The Best I have found it priced at is around $199 plus shipping and taxes!

I intend to move my 16 ft. Big Tex 10PI utility trailer around with it and sometimes when I have mulch for the yard! 9hoping the BX2200 will handle it) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Your BX should handle it fine. One of my primary uses of my BX is to move my travel trailer - about 3500-4000lbs from the back yard to the front. I don't move it far, but it is on pea gravel, around 8-9 inches thick in some spots. The BX manages to move it just fine. I ordered the hitch from Northern Tool.

tomnky,

Before you order that you might want to check with Lienbach. I got this one from them for $69.50 + S&H.

I use it to move around my 18ft dual axle trailer.

Ryan,
That sounds like the neighborhood of the weight I probably will try to handle as the trailer itself weighs about 2,000 lbs.

Thanks,
Tom

This one looks good to me , as I need to move my gooseneck as well. Its ~$110, plus shipping out to me in utah brings it to about $165.00.

Without a welder you're left with fewer options. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif If I even tried to wheedle a welder out of my wife at this point she'd skin me /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
