Kubota B2920
Bought a new B2920 Kubota and some equipment including a Land Pride 50 inch rototiller. Also bought a Land Pride quick hitch to use with the equipment. When we hooked the tiller up, the shaft fro the tiller would not reach the pto shaft because of the setback of the quick hitch. I assume we could buy a longer shaft to make it work but someone has since told me that you could not use a tiller with a quick hitch because of the vibration and that it would tear it up. Anyone familiar with using a tiller with a quick hitch let me know

It's shown on there brochure being used with a tiller so I doubt it. Don't think they would sell the Imatch to very many people if it's only good on a few implements.

I think a quick hitch will work fine. Bushhogs vibrate much more than even tillers in my experiance so you should be good to go. On the short PTO shaft get a PTO extension from TSC store. They fit over and extend the tractors pto shaft. They work well and are a economical solution for you.........Good taste in tillers by the way.

Using a quick hitch with a tiller is not a problem in anyway. Just be sure that the length of the shaft is setup properly. I agree that an economical way to resolve your problem is to pickup a pto extension. Just make sure all the other implements that you use it with are checked for length too.

Could you let us know your thoughts on the width of the tiller vs pto HP when you do try it and also if it covers your tracks?

I have the same tractor and was looking at a 60"

For what it's worth, I recently bought a B2620 and decided on the 48" tiller. The rear tire spread is 49" but I plan on offsetting the tiller a couple of inches. Have yet to try it though.

The B2920 Kabota handles the 50 inch tiller very well, could probably have gone bigger. the tiller plows out both tire tracks without any problem. We measured the outside width of the rear tires before buying the tiller
