what does a tooth bar (non removable teeth OK) for a 54" bucket go for installed?

Don't have the price on this item. However, why do you want a non-removable toothbar? What happens if one of your teeth break, or you want to replace the cutting edge, or you want to remove the toothbar to plow and push snow in the winter. All these tasks are easier to do with a removable toothbar. I suggest you go this route.

I think he said removable "teeth." I was quoted about $250 from KC Canary Tractor in New York--have not ordered yet but have heard very good things about them. You can send me a pm for Mark's phone number.

sorry...the teeth do not need to be the removable kind, but the tooth bar does need to be removable.

A bolt on tooth bar 54" with replaceable(pinned on) teeth would run 230.00 plus freight, you install, requires drilling 2 holes, easy to do yourself. These are nice heavy duty units. NewEnglandTractor I would install it for you but you would have to drive to Connecticut.

Jonathan...

Mark Brucker's phone number at KC Canary is 518-853-3405. They order the toothbars through FFC Attachments out of Lee, Illinois. See attached link for specs on the HD toothbar. I have this on my JD HD bucket. See attachment. These toothbars are invaluable.....I'd recommend anyone doing a lot of FEL work to purchase a toothbar. It'll simplify work at least twicefold.

How bad is shipping on something that size?? (I'm in IN)

MLB,

I just called FFC attachments. He figured worst case shipping to my area (I'm much further than you) would be $30.00 but most likely only $15.00. My bucket is only 5 foot so a tooth bar for mine would only weigh about 70 lbs. FFC can't ship to you directly but can ship to any equipment/tractor dealer near you.

Don't know on shipping. I had mine installed at the dealer when I bought my 4710 from KC Canary.

I do know KC will have it drop shipped to anywhere you tell them you want it delivered. It'll be sent direct from FFC Attachments in Lee, IL to your home, your dealer, or anywhere else. I'm not sure on the shipper. These toothbars are heavy and I believe UPS has a weight limit. Best thing to do is call Mark Brucker. If you want to save on the phone charge, e-mail him at sales@kc-canary.com for information on toothbar prices and shipping charges.

Mark at KC Canary quoted me about $ 40 - $ 50 shipping for a 72" heavy duty toothbar to Massachusetts.
