Tractor
Kubota BX2660
Hey Guys, last year I made the upgrade from a garden tractor to a Kubota subcompact tractor (BX2660). Soon after of course I found TBN and have made a few friends along with learning a lot about tractors. Thanks to all!!
In a few short months realizing I needed to invest in a QA system for the projects I wanted to do. After searching and talking with a couple of suppliers I settled on one that stood out from the rest. Jery from small loader Quick attach, Tach-N-Go and attachments
I was looking for a good quality design with strength. Wanting a good assortment of attachments, 1 or 2 was not going to cut it. Also what I found from Jery was his want to build a customer base and keep that customer base. Thats hard to find in todays world. He shared a couple ideas of what he had in mind for up coming production. And I was convinced he was the guy.
I bought several pieces for him and as I pulled each piece from the pallet I was amazed at how robust and strong the pieces are. Lots of bracing with what I expect to be very strong attachments. I could see from what had been discussed that the engineering design was tops but with also keeping the pieces lite weight as some of them need to be. Very good balance of strength, weight and design.
The first Im posting on is a rake that has a fine tooth and rough tooth sides. Which are replaceable if need or swap to the smooth edges for what ever the reasons?

First is the QA bar that has a cam locking system with a securing pin.

With the early spring we are having here in Michigan I decided to give the rake a try. The large teeth I used it on the drive to level and goom. And a ditch that needed over growth removed. Sorry I didnt take shots of before but here is the another ditch to show what it was like and then after. Also at the bottom it worked very well at raking gravel from the lawn back into the drive.

Then I took it to some over growth and in couple back and forths I was able to clear things out.

Didnt get a chance to do much with it as I was almost out of fuel:eek:
I promise to give some better shots of the before and afters as I show the attachments Ive bought. Yet to come is the grapple system with its 3 different jaws and a bucket that also uses the grapple thumb. Also the 3 jaws can be used independent of the thumb. Ripping roots and rocks along with the thumb pick up large amouts of brush.

Thanks Chris

Very NICE! ...and here is the link to see that QA in action;

Chris - that QA system looks pretty neat. I'd be interested once he has the BX grapple finished so I could see how that works. It's not clear to me if the grapple would require a third function hydraulic circuit like a traditional grapple, or if it somehow can operate with just the existing bucket curl cylinder, which would make it more affordable and easier to install if it did. Might I ask what the pricing is on the BX Quick Attach? Thanks

If you follow my GrappleOmatic thread you will see how I am going to
attempt to split a BX25 curl circuit. So far so good, so far it has been very
easy and I do not anticipate any issues. I just got the new Fasse valve
today. To the best of my knowledge I have something no one else does, that
is a diverter valve w/ all 4 outlet ports on one side! CLICK HERE

Hey Chris, The grapple systems are in production and yes it will have to have its own circuit to opperate. Im not very familiar with hydro so maybe someone else can chime in for this part.
Im currently collecting parts for this to be a foot pedal valve. Keeps my hands free to drive and work the FEL. Then its just a simple touch of the pedal. For a grapple I wanted something that was not selonoid activated. I wanted something with a little more control and finesse.
As far as pricing take a look at Jery's website. Watch some of the videos and make a point to give him a call. Very personable guy to talk with. SITE
Found this at the bottom of his site.....
SPRING IS NEAR!

Please call Jery for availablility and possible special package deals

Well guys it may take me just a little while longer to get my hydro set up. I was able to make a deal on a factory BH for my tractor. So Ill be waiting for it to show up and take a look at how to run the hydro for the BH and grapple. Im planning a pedal valve mounted to the floor board on my left side. I have not mounted this yet as I want to see how the BH sub frame will have to clear the valve. Might take me a little while but will keep you posted.
