I thought about making some attachment rings and a wood PALLET....
    Ideas? PHOTOS?
    thanks
Go to TSC an get a carry-all frame, then use a skid or put a wood floor on the Carry- all and attach sprayer.

Thanks Boomer.....looked at it and will buy!!
Next question someone posted a 25' boomless sprey adapter....my new sprayer came with a 10' boomless sprayer. The pump DOES have the pressure and GPM to use the 25 footer....so, if I swapped them I assume that it will still put out the same amount of liquid in a much wider swath......so I just drive SLOWER. Is this correct?
The pressures and GPM's remain the same
    Newbee here.....

I probably need to be back in the truck bed monitoring the flow while someone else drives. I think proper speed will be critical as far as coverage. And I expect some overspray, but in my situation, killing some road or plotside plants will not matter, in fact, it is desired to maybe minimize the trimming I have to do. I designed the rear hitch so that I can also attach my boom (from my little 20 gallon ATV sprayer) by only using one bolt, and the hoses will also quick connect, so if I need more accurate coverage, I can always switch from boomless to boom.

I also see the need for a 12V controlled valve. I thought i could control it from the cab by simply turning the motor on/off with a remote switch, but it tends to dribble, and that will waste chemicals. But all in all, I think it will work, and at least it has the capacity to cover some ground without having to return to a water source to refill.

I initially intended to build a frame so I could lift it with my FEL, but after some thought, I decided lighter was better. I can now load it in my truck by myself (empty of course). And I don't see the need to ever lift it with water in it.
Here is the result of my first use of my home made sprayer. I put out 400 gallons of glyphosate in about 2 hours of driving around in my truck. Since this was the trial run, I had a buddy drive while I stood in the bed and controlled the switch, but in the future, I could easily do is from the cab alone. Where it really excelled was on the roads. I have one road along the river that grows up so much that it becomes impassable. I sprayed it as I was driving and it really looks great now.

We would like a concise writeup of all materials, assembly instructions and potential problems, fully documented with pictures during assembly.

This http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/a...ml#post2791139 is a good start but we need more details.

    Looks GREAT.

Also, to those who are concerned about the weight - remember the tote only ways about 70lbs EMPTY. So tote plus pallet plus pump etc might be about 150 to 200.
BUT the tote can hold 300 gallons, which is 2,400 lbs. Make sure whatever you are going to carry it with can support it.
