I have a 6' King Kutter Mower that I use on our 10 acre lot. This lot is not smooth but is slowly getting better. I have gone through an average of 2 wheels a season on this thing. The wheels are the 9"x3.5-4 size. The price on these have steadily gone up and it seams the quality has gone down. I've tried the standard split rims with air tires and the one piece rims with "no-flats". The rims are literally falling apart around the bearings.

Is there anything out there that is more heavy duty than these rims that will fit my mower? Also it seams that no one is selling the empty split rims anymore is this true? I have several no flats that I can put on the split rims.

Thanks is advance,
Steve

I dont know if they would fit but gocart wheels are usually 4 " diameter. might try a google search.

Hope this helps.

It sound like the problem is the cheap press in bearings in the wheels. I would definately research go cart front wheels. Look for some thing that has a tapered bearing maybe and cast hub with a bolt on wheel.

My Bush Hog came with a solid tire and looks like it will go the life of the machine. Try looking at other mower brands for a solid tire fit.

I have been looking at other brands but they don't tell ya what size they are. What do you have on your Bush Hog brand?
