John Deere Model 448
Is the 448 backhoe a good match for a John deere model 4600 compact tractor?

Do you mean you are from Rescue, CA, near Sacto? You put "Recue".
Anyway, that should be a good size for you. Did you see today's listing
for a 448 for $3800 in Woodside? It looks like a good deal.
You should check if JD's subframe for the older 4600 fits the newer 448.See my TBN projects at:
