Front Mount Harley Power Box Rake
Has anyone used one of these? If so, how well did it work? See http://www.glenmac.com/fdr.htm for a description.

Re: Front Mount Harley Power Box Rake
Yes, I rented a Steiner version for a half day (see lower right photo shown on the Harley web page referenced in the previous post). It was outstanding for creating a fine seedbed from a rough area that had many tree roots in the soil. An excavator had removed several old damaged trees so there were no stumps left--just numerous broken roots. Root fragments were winrowed on each pass with the Harley rake, and then I just used it to push each windrow to the end of the plot for easy cleanup. Some windrows took 2 or more passes, but it was a lot quicker than I could have done the job by hand. I seeded the plot immediately after using the Harley and had an excellent stand of grass.
I can't justify owning the unit, but fortunately for me it is readily available for rent.
