Re-furbished a JD offset 8' disk last year. Just now really getting to use it. Noticed that the front left disk flips dirt out further than the rear left disk can catch it and bring it back in. Not a big deal in a large patch, but for one pass boarder disking I can see where this would be a problem year after year (as in around plantation pine groves) Now I think I figured out why previous owner had a smaller blade on the front rt position. Is this the only fix for this issue? thanks

Smaller blades in certain positions seem to be fairly common depending on the disk.

My son was having trouble with his tandem leaving a furrow so I solved the problem with a torch.
