I picked up a used Bobcat CT230 last week and needed to get a rotary cutter to mow through our woods and a rear blade to manage our gravel driveway at our new place.

I happen to have a relatively large Land Pride dealer a few miles from the new place so I ordered an RCF2060 (60" medium duty rotary cutter) and a RB1672 (72" duty rear blade with tilt, angle and offset capability).

My first experience with buying/owning this type of equipment so I'm sure I'll have questions. I'll post some pictures when I get them, in case anyone is wondering about these items.

Don't get a 72inch blade get an 84inch, when the 72 is angled it will barely cover your tracks, I have an 96inch king cutter professional blade and it's fine but get to heavy of a load and loose traction, but i borrow a Deere 84in blade and works a whole lot better, never yet ran out of traction nor power with my CT235

Congratulations, everyone needs a rotary cutter and a blade. I mainly use a box blade to dress up the driveway but I use the blade every winter (except this one) to clear snow from our driveway and 1/2 mile of county road to the highway.
